When you need service call the pros at Service First. Factory authorized and insured our trained technicians will diagnose your problem economically and get you back up and running and in-shape fast! When you call-in to report a breakdown we immediately get to work on scheduling your appointment and preparing for the job with the right tools, manuals and tech support. Once we have the diagnosis, usually the repair requires parts. We will go through our long list of suppliers of quality parts at fair prices. If one doesn’t have what you need we move onto the next until we find it. Finally, we come back to install the part and get you running again. Every repair includes a full tune-up by a trained and professional technician. We leave you with a 30 Day Warranty on Craftmanship. If it’s not fixed right we do it again. Preventative Maintenance
Our services include preventative maintenance on a quarterly or monthly basis as needed per facility request. As part of our continued efforts to assist our customers with their fitness equipment, we offer a preventative maintenance program that is unmatched in the industry. We will perform a preventative maintenance on your equipment based on manufacturers’ recommendations, as well as cleaning the interior and vacuuming underneath and inside your cardio equipment. We will also lube guide rods and inspect cables on all strength equipment. Accurate maintenance records are given to customers to assist in the tracking of service performed and parts replacement on your equipment. Service First Fitness Equipment can work on all makes and models of fitness equipment. We tailor the price based on your equipment, contact us for a free PM quote now!
This Preventative Maintenance Agreement includes lubrication of all moving parts, adjustment of friction belts, lubrication of treadmill secks as needed per manufacturer specs, vacuuming under hood covers, tightening of crank arm levers, electronics checks, replacement of console batteries if necessary (part price not included), and to check for wear on pulleys, cables, and any other areas which might show signs of wear. This agreement does not include any unscheduled emergency or repair visits. It does not cover any parts or labor involved in The normal repair of equipment. Service First will not be responsible for damage to equipment due to normal wear and tear, acts of God, manufacturer defects, or customer abuse.”
What To Expect During A Preventative Maintenance Service
TREADMILLS:
Open hood, vacuum
Clean outside hood, rails and console
Visual inspection for cosmetic damage, warn parts
Inspection for walking and drive belts, operation (belt tensioning, display buttons)
Test operation of noise/feel
Take an Amp draw test prior to lube if needed
Lubrication under walking belt if needed, under lift system, optional wheels and pivots
Take an Amp draw reading and document after lube if needed
Tighten (loose bolts, etc), adjust belts, level unit and test as needed
Record miles, hours as needed
ELLIPTICALS – STEPPERS:
Open hood, vacuum
Clean outside covers, ramps and wheels
Visual inspection for cosmetic damage, warn parts
Inspections of drive belts, wheels, ramps
Inspections for operation (belt tensioning, display buttons)
Test operation of noise/feel
Lubricate lift system, ramp pivot, optional upper body arms
Tighten (loose bolts, etc), adjust belts, level unit and test as needed
Record miles, hours as needed
BIKES (sealed covers):
With sealed covered bikes, initially opened then expected every 6 months.
Clean outside covers and console
Test operation of noise/feel/slipping, pedals for smoothness
Inspections for operation (display buttons, seat slides, latches and wheels)
Upon any problems found, covers come off to further diagnose
Tighten (loose bolts, etc), adjust belts, level unit and test as needed
Record miles, hours as needed
SPIN BIKES:
Test operation of noise/feel/slipping, pedals for smoothness
Inspections for operation (display buttons, seat slides, latches and wheels)
Clean outside covers and console
Lubricate brake pad, seat/handlebar adjustment knobs, optional drive chains
Tighten (loose bolts, etc), adjust belts, level unit and test as needed
STEPMILLS:
Test operation of noise/feel
Inspections for operation (display buttons, stair movement)
Pull both side covers
Inspections, bearings, rods, chains, drive belts, step hinges
Lubricate as needed
Record miles, hours as needed
STRENGTH:
Inspections of cables, operation under minimal weight, upholstery, slide adjustments of any kind
Check all pivot areas for wear
Lubricate pop pins, guide rods
Clean in/around shrouds and weight stack
Check bolts on weight benches, trees, pads etc.
MONTHLY PMS:
All above except
Sealed Covered Bikes every 6 months
Stepmill covers every other month
Ellipticals covers every other month if operational
Spin Bikes, Treadmills, strength equipment complete in full
